Tim Golden and his wife Carolyn have been with Brightstar Care for fourteen years and have two territories which cover much of east and northeastern Georgia. They joined the brand when there were only about 24franchisees, and saw the brand grow to have 300 franchisees all across the country.
After fifteen years in banking Tim wanted a change of careers. He and his wife needed something that worked for them and their family. They chose franchising because they knew that it would be building a business for yourself, but not by yourself. They would already have a structure, and the tools to succeed – making it a great fit for their needs. The Goldens could already tell, franchising is going into business for yourself, not by yourself.
Tim first heard about Brightstar Care when he was volunteering for Meals on Wheels. When he was delivering the means, he noticed some of the participants had caretakers. After some research, he learned about Brightstar Care.
Brightstar provides all levels of care for patients right in their homes, whether that’s caregivers, certified nurses or home help aids. Brightstar Care allows people to stay in their own homes or assisted living facilities while getting all the help they need as they age.
Their employees have a passion for caregiving, and Brightstar often employs nurses who want to get back into the workforce. They have provided over 1,200 jobs with flexible hours, all while providing an essential service, which has helped hundreds of families over the years.
Tim Golden is a local business owner, and he is Open for Opportunity.
