Shane Evans is the Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Massage Heights, a membership-based upscale massage and skincare company dedicated to optimizing body and skin health in a spa-like environment. After a disappointing spa experience, Shane was inspired to launch Massage Heights in 2004. She recalls, “Four months after that experience, I started my very first location. Franchising became a vehicle for growth because people wanted to get involved and invest.”
Under her leadership, the brand grew to over 120 operating units in the United States and Canada. As an active member of the International Franchise Association for over a decade, Shane is a passionate advocate for the business model, lending her voice to IFA’s policy initiatives, attending the IFA Advocacy Summit each year, and being a proud supporter of FranPAC. Shane has taken on leadership roles across several IFA committees, underscoring the importance of the association’s work to further the opportunities provided by franchising.
What excites her most about franchising is the opportunity to “help people realize the American dream,” a mission that drives her to make a lasting impact in the industry. In addition to her role at Massage Heights, Shane co-owns several retail locations and serves as the co-founder of Summit Franchise Supply and The Gents Place Franchising. With a commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence, she aims to benefit all members of the Massage Heights family.
