Jason Madden, The Entrepreneur's Source – Albuquerque, NM - Open for Opportunity

Jason Madden enlisted in the United States Marine Corps straight out of high school and spent the next 16 years in the military, taking him to more than 32 countries being charged with tactical and strategic responsibilities. Today, Jason applies his skills from the military, including resiliency, adaptability, and strategic thinking, to his present-day-success as the owner of The Entrepreneur’s Source in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

But Jason’s service didn’t stop when he transitioned from the military. Jason is working to help more veterans figure out what comes next as a civilian. “I wanted to give back to the veteran community. I wanted to help others that were in that kind of weird career transition kind of mode that I was in,” Jason said.

As servicemembers, Jason and his fellow veterans would have to make plans, execute them, and adapt along the way and improve, and he believes this experience is why so many veterans find success as franchise owners. In Jason’s role, he has a unique opportunity to help veterans because he has walked in their shoes, he knows their strengths, and he knows where they might need help.

Jason gets excited talking about the opportunities that exist for veterans: “Another thing that I love about franchising is that accessibility to somebody that is achieving the same goals that you have. And you can kind of follow their footsteps because they’ve already paved that way for you.” Jason is helping pave the way for veterans.

Jason Madden is a local business owner, and he is Open for Opportunity.
